The Ray P. Authement College of Sciences awarded 90 bachelor of science degrees and 30 master of science degrees during the Fall 2018 College of Sciences commencement ceremony on Friday, 14 December 2018. Earlier in the day, at the Commencement General Assembly, 6 college of sciences students received doctor of philosophy degrees.

Two college of sciences students, Dahlia Taha Khalifa and the late Gregory Louis Leger, both of whom majored in biology, graduated summa cum laude for achieving perfect 4.0 grade point averages.

Four students received special recognition at the college assembly.

Dahlia Taha Khalifa was honored as the University of Louisiana at Lafayette Alumni Association's Fall 2018 Outstanding Graduate for the Ray P. Authement College of Sciences.

Mallory Borel received the Fall 2018 David R. Andrew Outstanding Scholar Award.

Elizabeth Sheldon received the Fall 2018 Sigred Lanoux Service Award.

Zachary Kirby received the Fall 2018 Bradd Clark Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Research.
