The April Sciences Interdisciplinary Monthly Meeting was held on Tuesday, 19 April 2016.  Professor James Dent of our department of physics discussed some major puzzles in particle physics and cosmology.  He described his research program and how he and his collaborators are addressing issues ranging from dark matter and gravitational waves to physics beyond the Standard Model of particle physics.

Professor Magdy Bayoumi of the school of computing and informatics will present the next Sciences Interdisciplinary Monthly Meeting seminar in September 2016.  Details will be added to the SIMM webpage later in the summer so please check back.
