Biology Student Presentations at Ocean Sciences Meeting
Sun, 03/10/2024 - 12:00pmKelly Robinson of our Biology Department and a group of undergraduate and graduate biology students participated in the 2024 Ocean Sciences Meeting in New Orleans, 18-23 February 2024. Undergraduate student Ethan Horn and several graduate students gave poster presentations at the meeting. We are pleased that these students and their mentor were able to take advantage of this wonderful opportunity to share their scientific results (and the product of all their hard work) with a much broader community of Scientists from around the world.
Please visit the Robinson Zooplankton Lab to learn more about the research activities of Dr. Robinson and her students.
Every two years, the Ocean Sciences Meeting unifies the oceans community to share findings, connect scientists from around the world, and advance the impact of science. The 2024 Ocean Sciences Meeting, held in New Orleans, 18-23 February 2024, brought together almost 6,000 attendees to share science, meet collaborators, and enjoy time together.
The Ocean Sciences Meeting 2024 is co-sponsored by the American Geophysical Union, the Association for the Sciences of Limnology and Oceanography (ASLO), and The Oceanography Society (TOS). Through the combined power of these three organizations, affiliated partners, and working with the broader conservation-focused community, this meeting provides attendees the opportunity to bridge disciplines, connect communities, and make lasting partnerships.
